The Magenta Project is an innovative and impactful initiative dedicated to advancing gender diversity and equity in the sailing industry. Founded by a group of former Volvo Ocean Race sailors, The Magenta Project champions opportunities for women in professional sailing.

Cole is the first American woman to race solo non-stop around the world. On October 28th, 2023, Cole set sail from A Coruña, Spain, to compete in the Global Solo Challenge. The only female and youngest competitor, Cole, placed 2nd when she arrived back in A Coruña on March 7, 2024. 

Redd Fish Restoration Society is a charity focused on ecological restoration, research, and education. They restore coastal ecosystems and rebuild wild salmon stocks in Clayoquot and Barkley Sound and work with five Nations in the region.
