"If I had to describe this new Ventus Hooded Windshell jacket with just one word it would be “WOW! “ Here in East Central Florida we can get thunderstorms that pop up out of nowhere during any given afternoon. Such was the case back in June while out on the water; the heat index was in the triple digits and a thunderstorm soon followed. Although this jacket is only listed as water repellent, it kept me dry the entire afternoon during these driving rains. This is the ultimate summer time wind/ rain barrier. This jacket is super lightweight and not hot like other styles of windbreakers or rain repellent gear. As with all of Mustang Survival quality products, the fit is true to size, no more guessing of what size to order and hoping it fits upon arrival. Whether you are and avid outdoorsman or just need a lightweight jacket for earlier morning or late evening adventures, this jacket is perfect."
