"Although I haven't actually tested the inflatable waist PFD pouch (and I hope to never have too), I can say that I think it's going to be absolutely perfect for fishing next spring/summer/fall. I was thinking of getting the thing vest type inflatable PFD, but I knew it would be awkward seeing as I wear a fishing vest with all my gear at the ready. This waistline pouch sits in the perfect position that still allows me to have a good range of movement when casting. Now I don't have to feel so 'on edge' when standing in the river with full waders on! Can never be too prepared!"
"Feels odd leaving a positive review for something I hope to ‘never use’. But no complaints so far. Quality material, and as a bigger man, I have no issues with sizing or with comfort. Whether I’m standing on my SUP or sitting in my kayak, it feels comfortable to the point I forget I’m wearing it."
"Too little information on the website about this kind of PFD ("Minimalist Inflatable Belt Pack). A friend lent me one when we went kayaking and it seemed like a good idea at the time. If I'd known the CO2 cylinder can be used only once -- is that true? who knows from the ordering info? -- I would never have spent $200 CD on it. Plus, as a physician relative of mine pointed out, if you go overboard and have hit your head, you're in no shape to pull a cord; you need a full (if bulky) old-fashioned life jacket that instantly keeps your head above water. If I hadn't opened the package and tested out the cord, I would have returned this un-used. Buyer beware!"
