Description

The ultra-soft, stain-resistant outer fabric, ventilated mesh back, and moisture-wicking liner hold up to wear and tear and keep the user comfortable. The zipper and buckle closure creates a secure fit, and the three-piece collar cradles the head when in the water. The grab loop makes quick rescue possible, and reflective accents ensure visibility. The Youth Lil Legends Foam Vest is for users weighing 55-88 lbs (25-40 kg.) Note: This product is not intended for water skiing, towable sports, or for use on personal watercraft (PWC)

Missing crotch strap

"I don’t recommend this life jacket as they have removed the crotch strap from the Youth model. It’s really hard to find a youth life jacket with a crotch strap nowadays, but there are still a few out there, so I will shop elsewhere."

Mustang Survival Lil legends Youth life jacket

"I have been purchasing the lil legends life jacket for my son since he was an infant. Due to a stroke in infancy he is a quadriplegic with no head or body control. I love that the lil legends offers amazing head support that keeps his head and airway safely out of the water. It also flips him over so he is facing upwards as he cannot do that himself. The life jacket comes in many sizes and there were options to grow with him for many years. I gave this 4 stars because of the new model that came out. On the youth size the crotch strap was removed from the life jacket. This has become a barrier to my sons independence in the water. The new model allows for the life jacket to ride up and cause abrasions on his face from the zipper. Although it’s a great fit, I also worry that as the jacket slips up he would slip out as he cannot pull it down to adjust on his own. Yes parental supervision can adjust that, but what happens in a boating accident and there’s no one able to help him? This life jacket would be 5 stars with the replacement if the crotch strap like the lil legends 100 had."
