Appreciating the history of the people whose traditions and families go back tens of thousands of years.

Finding that connection to something bigger past his comfort zone - past the places of the shoreline and himself that he knows well, and allowing himself to be pulled into new corners and perspectives of those coastlines.

All through his greatest teacher - the ocean.
