What is OEKO-TEX®?

Materials that meet Oeko-tex® requirements have been scientifically tested for harmful substances. This certification independently evaluates every product component along the entire production chain to guarantee they are free from toxic substances like lead, mercury, allergenic dyes, and more.  

Often OEKO-TEX® certification requirements have limit values beyond national and international requirements, and the company updates their testing criteria catalogue annually as new scientific knowledge and statutory requirements become available.  

For all new product developments in our recreational line at Mustang Survival, we require our design and materials teams to select and source only materials that are either bluesign® or Oeko-tex® approved. Our long-term goal is to have every product be bluesign® or Oeko-tex®
